Planet Ginger would sell:
- fresh squeezed lemonade, with big, suspended sugar crystals, cheap and in tall measure -- or made-to-order lattes from (but of course) the finest beans
- lots and lots of feather-insert throw pillows
- natural soaps in dense cakes that last for months
- salsas -- many varieties of runny-not-chunky salsas with lovely touches like black beans or corn & cilantro
- killer kids books! Only witty ones allowed, with thoughtful rhymes or onomatopoeia or sly, unstated plot points advanced through illustration... and probably kids' puzzles (3-D preferred)... plus watercolors and art sets... kid's correspondence cards that get customized at checkout... and, really, all manner of priviledged childhood items, available to the masses for the sum of a smile
- flips-flops (and I was ALREADY was past 5 items, wasn't I?). Breezy, easy, not-cheaply-made flip-flops for every occasion from out for groceries to outdoor wedding
- magazine articles on demand -- just the ones I always mean to read but never print out or can locate under all the ads
- snack foods by the binfuls -- use a scoop and pick your passion! No complete meals will be offered, just sweet and salty snacks of small or squarish variety: dark chocolate chunks, Tamari toasted almonds, dried cranberries and blueberries, bite-size rice crispie treats, Terra chips, flavor-dusted popcorn, Parmesean Goldfish and, oh! oh!, Cheez-Nips that taste great but magically have less sodium
- scrapbooking time -- sold in units along with the albums: if you buy a 6x8" book with 20 pages, you also get enough time to finish the book within the first month of purchase
- beds -- marvelous, fluffy, all-enveloping nap or sleep spots (they're not just for bedrooms anymore!) with firm mattresses, high thread-count linens, reading-light enhanced headboards and seductive duvets -- all at flea-market prices with delivery included.
